5 notes were changed
If the images in those ones are working now, that’s a good proof of concept. Do you know if those 5 and the erroring one were similar – same domain, same file type, etc.? Do you know if the rest of them (I don’t know how many you have total) are more like the 5 or like the erroring one?
You could try doing the erroring one manually, and then see how far you get running the add-on again.
None of them are working. Gives error message for all of them.

I honestly can’t tell at this point if you’re deliberately giving me confusing / limited / incorrect information, or it’s some sort of miscommunication, or you just don’t care enough about this to give me helpful answers. It probably doesn’t matter why, because regardless it makes it very hard to help you. I had to ask 3 times to get you to admit that the img tag actually had the angle brackets it needed. You just told me a few hours ago that 5 notes were changed when you ran the add-on, and now you’re telling me that none were.
I don’t know why you’re not able to download these files anymore, but you might need to come to terms with it being impossible or a lot of work to get them.
If you can’t even get them from the actual link where they are posted, I don’t know how you’re going to be able to give them to Anki.
I am so sorry! I am not good with code so I was not sure what you were asking.
To give you as much info as possible: I copy and pasted pictures from quizlet, and I can still access those pictures just fine. I made the deck probably 3 weeks ago, and it was working fine up until a couple days ago. The code includes the brackets. I tried fixing 5 of the cards, and it gave that error message and didn’t fix the problem. I thought you were asking how many did I try fixing, not how many actually got fixed.

Something is keeping Anki from being able to see these remote files, that must be why it’s not displaying them and why it’s not able to localize them with the add-on. (It might be why it can’t localize them in the first place …)
How many notes do you have with this issue? Let’s assume for a moment that it’s only cards with the "o.quizlet.com" domain – search for that in the Browse window, switch to “Notes” mode (switch in the top bar) – how many notes is it?
I seem to recall a change at one point that fixed some instances of remote images failing to load, so you may find updating to the latest Anki version (or the current beta) to help for now. But things may break again in the future if the remote site makes changes, so I recommend you use the add-on Danika recommended above.
