I created this small add-on because I often wanted to keep extra information inside my notes without showing it while reviewing. Instead of creating extra fields or deleting useful text, I wanted a simple one-click solution.
Transparent Text lets you hide selected text inside the Anki editor while keeping it fully searchable, editable, and synchronized across your devices. It’s perfect for mnemonics, hidden hints, personal reminders, keywords, or anything else you want to keep in your notes without cluttering your cards.
