There is a bug in the highlight text function in the editor

Steps:

  1. Enter words first, and then mark them.
  2. Click the “Highlight icon” at the top, and the text will be highlighted.

  3. Move the cursor to the end of the first line and press Enter.

  4. Select all the words (including line breaks) and then delete them.

  5. Enter the text again, and the text is automatically highlighted.

Sometimes this phenomenon does not appear.

I can reproduce this. It appears to go away if you focus another field after removing the text.

Due to a lack of resources, I’m afraid this probably won’t get fixed in the near future unless a motivated person feels like digging into it.
