Text-to-Speech within the field

I have my cards designed with specific text I want the text-to-speech to speak and other text I don’t want it to speak. I use excel to generate my notes with the format in the picture to design the font color and bold. I was wondering if there is a simple HTML code I could use to surround only the text I want to hear from the card while excluding the other text. Similar to how I have the bold open and close with . Using the text-to-speech format in the card template - {{tts en_US voices=Microsoft_Mark:cloze:Text}} - Anki reads the entire card but I just need the “text I want to hear” isolated from the reading. I use text-to-speech to have my French vocabulary to be read out loud on-the-fly on MacOS and iOS (on-the-fly AwesomeTTS unfortunately only works on MacOS, but not on iOS). Some of my words include brackets and/or further information that I do not want to be read by tts. Example: For “les chaussures (f)” I would like to exclude the “(f)” and only have read out “les chaussures”.
