Second sync after launching anki fails

I am running the last Windows 10 32 bit version. I press sync once and it is okay. I press it again 20 seconds later and I get this error. I wanted to get a little more life out of my Windows 10 32 bit 8 inch tablet but let me know if I have to upgrade to a new one like a Surface Go 3. I also run on iOS and a Windows 10 desktop.

Note that I have no addons in the addons21 directory but there is an old one that is not listed in the addons directory. Should I erase everything and re-install? Would that help? I already tried rebooting the device. Thanks.

Edit:I removed the anki installation (including preference files and the old addon directory). and reinstalled and the issue remains. It doesn’t happen on my iPad, iPhone or Windows 10 64 bit desktop with the latest anki versions. Could it be a bug in the older 32 bit Windows version of Anki?

Yes, I think this is the case here. The issue was previously reported only for 2.1.35 and older versions, so it’s probably fixed now in recent versions.
