```So I was using Anki and adding cards as usual when I got an error message. This has been going on for months now. The error messages usually repeat themselves but I think I have gotten 3 different ones that keep popping up. The is this the most recent one:
A fatal error occurred, and Anki must close. Please report this message on the forums.
Since the start of these messages I've been searching online and it hasn't helped so far. The errors don't seem to affect my experience using Anki (other than me having to exit and restart the app) but I still want to find out what's causing them. Here's a bit of background info if it helps:
-I have been using Anki since July 2021 (it's October 2022 now)
-the errors only occur when I am adding cards, not studying them
-The errors started popping up a few months after I switched devices and synced the cards onto my new device
-I do have add-ons, specifically Custom Background Image and Gear Icon, Image Occlusion Enhanced, More Overview Stats, Review Heatmap, Speed Focus Mode auto-alert auto-reveal auto-fail
-I am using the latest version of Anki (<U+2068>2.1.54 (b6a7760c)<U+2069>, Qt5) and the latest version of the add-ons
-I have tried starting up Anki without add-ons and it does not fix the issue
-The errors take about an hour after I start making cards before popping up
-The errors are always related to Python (I remember one was about QMimeData)
-The errors only pop up when I press the Add button
-I have about 8000 flashcards in total
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to fix these errors. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
This is a follow-up error and unfortunately not very useful. I suggest you start Anki again without add-ons, run Check Database and then post the very first error you encounter, should there be any.
You may want to try the latest beta, as it should ensure only the first error is shown:
