Hi there I am still having this problem.
I have tried all of the trouble shooting steps from the Anki website but still for some reason I do not have the card count bar at the bottom. It is weird because it shows up on my ipad just not on my laptop which is really annoying.
Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Do you mean these counts and the Show Answer button?
If you have the “Show Answer” button, and the grading buttons, but not the counts – that suggests a display add-on is getting in the way. Have you run with add-ons disabled? Troubleshooting - Anki Manual
Those counts, and the entire bar, can also be hidden with an option in the preferences screen.
