An FAQ and/or guides section is not a bad idea. Not sure about moving all the existing FAQs immediately - it might be worth starting small and getting a feel for it first. Once the forum has been in place for a few weeks and we have some users at trust level 2, a good first step would be to experiment with Discourse’s wiki posts feature to see how it works out.
