Add a setting to show 2 buttons only. (hide Hard and Easy)
Tried to find the open source iOS project to just do this myself after spending an hour googling… Android has this feature. Adding an option to just hide the Hard and Easy buttons should be straightforward. I’ll volunteer my time to go add this …if given repo access.
I am afraid Anki for iOS is not open source. You can implement a two click solution by e.g. setting two different tap areas (preferences → review → taps) for reviewing with wrong and good (e.g left part of the screen for wrong and the right part for good).
Once you set up your 2-button taps/swipes – Preferences - AnkiMobile Manual – you can hide the answer buttons as well, so you can’t accidentally hit them.
Currently development of a new version of the reviewer is in progress, they are considering introducing the 2 button after that (not yet certain), so I think it may be developed later.
Edit: I’m not developing it, the official Anki and contributors are developing it.
