In the statistics, what means "Filtered: { $filteredCount }" actually?

What does Filtered: { $filteredCount } mean?

It comes from statistics-today-type-counts with the following text:

Learn: { $learnCount }, Review: { $reviewCount }, Relearn: { $relearnCount }, Filtered: { $filteredCount }

It appears in the statistics window:

I’ve played around with filtered decks, but Filtered: { $filteredCount } seems to be always 0, whatever I do. What does it actually mean? Is is related to filtered decks at all?

I did some testing and it seems there’s a quirk about this. If I learn a new card it doesn’t count towards $filteredCount or when I review any is:due card. Otherwise, it does.

Yes, it’s the number of cards that were studied from a filtered deck. Same as here:

When translating that, I don’t think you need to worry about the specific caveats of what is included or what is excluded from that group.
