Getting ten trillion popups to show me basic things is a bit grating.
And yes, I realize some mild irony in making my first topic on this forum to complain about how the anki manual should be more clear on some allegedly “self explanatory things”
Also, if my suggestion is achievable, but too hardcore, then, if you have the ability then add a popup to the onboarding that allows one to turn it off from there, then you can leave it on by default.
