when I search fieldName:/ in the search filter in the Browser window, too many notes are returned that don’t even have slashes in fieldName.
I have tried the following:
fieldName:/
fieldName:/
fieldName:re:./.
fieldName:re:./.
these either return nothing or too much
hmmm for some reason anki forums have hidden asterisks. Here is a screenshot of the things I have tried instead:

I bet all of those fields do have forward-slashes in them, because every field is built from underlying HTML – which is riddled with forward-slashes (especially if you have formatting, and it doesn’t take much!). Expand the < > above the field to see the HTML directly.
You might need to search for something more specific.
