Did you ever get external files to load using the code from this thread? I’m using Anki 2.1.56 When I tried to use the code from this thread code in my card template, JavaScript simply ignored it. There was nothing in the console. No errors, no nothing. And of course no loaded script.
The only way I could give the template access to the code was to simply paste it and have a huge wall of text I have to scroll through to get to my code. Pretty horrible which is why I’m looking for how to get external scripts to load.
