I am having this issue also. I tried syncing from my iPhone and my Mac and this error appears on both ends.
I am also having this same issue, but I did not edit any cards on AnkiWeb. I tried āCheck databaseā and also did āon next sync, force changes in one direction,ā but neither worked to solve the issue. Forcing changes in one direction on sync allows me to sync up with my AnkiWeb, but the problem persists every time I try to sync on the app on my desktop without doing force changes. Please advise.
I had exact the same error, force sync or rebuild didnāt work either.
Fixed it by recovering from last backup, I guess my last edit broke the integrity.

Long time user here and I just shuffled some decks around so the naming structures would make more sense to me. I noticed that all my decks under the Graphic::2D section are missing. I have a laptop that hasnāt been synced recently so I exported the 8 decks that are missing and moved them to my main laptop, and imported. I got an error that the cards were duplicates. So, then I searched for some of the particular questions and lo and behold, the cards are still here. And even still show as having the proper location Graphic::2D. But for some reason those decks arenāt showing in my Decks page under Graphic (though 3D is still there). And they arenāt showing in the side bar either.
I have anki on my iphone, ipad, and laptop. And those three devices all show the same thing, with the decks missing. And no sign of the 2D section unless I search for one of the cards that are assigned to it. And the card still shows the path as Graphic::2D::whateverDeckItsIn
Please advise.
If you run Tools-Check Database on the desktop devices, does that help?
Well, at first glance that seems to have fixed it. But now Iām getting an error when trying to sync, on both my iphone and my desktop.

I figured out how to force a download sync on my iPhone but the correct db is on my desktop, and I canāt figure out how to force an upload sync.

Iāve been using anki on and off all day on the desktop, but in the last 30 min I started receiving this error when I try to sync. I checked the database, checked media (just in case), made sure I had the latest anki version installed, restarted anki, restarted my computer, and cursed a little, but nothing has seemed to change this and Iām not sure how else to proceed.

Iām using Anki 2.0.70(20070.1) on iPhone. I just fully synced (download from the server). Then I learned some cards and trying to sync the result. But I got the following error when I doing that.
I checked the database and media and sync again, the error is the same. Could anyone help me to take a look?
By the way, I have been using Anki Desktop and AnkiMobile for years and they work very well. A few days ago I installed AnkiDroid on an Android phone and synced without issue. After that, I fully synced on this iPhone (download from the server) and learned some cards. Then I got this error when trying to sync.

Hi I am getting the following error from anki and I donāt know how it started. I was working my way through the Adyturndweller pixorize deck and as soon as I completed the vitamin K section it started throwing the following error whenever I attempt to sync. I am in the middle of dedicated right now and its stressing me out quite a bit. Any help would be appreciated. Attached is a screenshot of the error.

Sorry for the hassle, this was an issue with AnkiWeb, and it should be working again now.
When I attempt to sync my desktop app an error pops up that says:
āA network error occurred.
Error details: error decoding response body: missing field āmodelsā at line 1 column 17ā
Iām not sure how to fix this error and be able to sync it. I tried uninstalling the app and redownloading it but that did not help

Just got the same one. Going to ācheck databaseā on my phone fixed it there, but not my laptop. Now my phone is saying the two cant be merged together!
Just figured out a fix. Under tools hit check database, then after that sync your cards from anki web. Just worked for me
