During review, users sometimes click the wrong button

To let the user know which rating button was hit, Anki can emit a beep sound – a different sound for each button; or
beep only on button 3; or
beep on all but button 3.

I think a better solution for these users would be to think a bit longer before rating cards so that they don’t question themselves about which button they hit :slight_smile:

Ankidroid does this with colour and not sound. For a second or two after you answer the coloured dots above the card match the last answer. With PC/Mac you will need add-ons such as these:

Thank you for the information.
The drawbacks :

  • i have to move my eyes
  • i need a confirmation only for Hard and Easy.
