Can I insert HTML code right there, in situ AT the cursor? I now have to switch to HTML editor

the problem is, after switching to HTML editor, you cursor is moved to the end,
and the above changed into HTML, so not easy to know where you want to insert.

I searched and found no solution,
only 1 FR about the above that the cursor is moved to the end.
