Anki's not rendering cards right

Hey folks,

I’ve turned off every add-on, so that’s not it.
Here’s one of my card templates (I’ve translated the visible text to English but left the comments in Chinese; yeah, the code is a bit messy).
File:not-rendering-cards.zip

Problem: when I hit “Copy Blockage Coordinates”, the background is supposed to go gray… but it doesn’t.
Weird part—if I copy-paste the Front and Styling into a plain .html file and open it in Firefox or Chrome, it works perfectly.

Cards can also be displayed perfectly in dark mode.

Downgraded to 25.02.7 and the glitch is still there.
edit:In the latest 25.07.3 version, the problem still exists.
Am I missing something obvious, or is this a Qt quirk, or straight-up an Anki bug?

You need to remove the <style> and </style> tags from the start and the end of your styling code.
