I cluelessly made my anki cards all as a full deck rather than making one big for each semester deck then making subdecks for each week/topic. This means i need to topics one by one rather than being able to do all my cards for each semester at once. Is there a way to make an empty dec and move all the decks I made as subdecks? I’m on anki mobile (on my ipad) so i understand it might be harder.
If you don’t have access to the computer version of Anki, it will be a manual process I’m afraid: you’ll need to swipe left across each deck and choose ‘rename’, and then give the deck a parent prefix, e.g.: parent::child1, parent::child2, and so on.
