Please use the Terminal app to start the Anki Launcher, by running this command:
/Applications/Anki.app/Contents/MacOS/launcher
Doing this will allow you to see any error messages that get printed. If you need further assistance, please copy/paste the error messages in your reply.
Could you please also answer these questions:
- Did you transfer your files and settings to the MacBook Neo from a previous Mac computer using Migration Assistant?
- If so, what model was the previous Mac computer? Was it an Intel-based system?
- Is this your first time trying to install and use Anki, or have you used Anki in the past on a previous Mac computer?
