From time to time when pasting an image to a note, an error message occurs with message as in the topic name. The image pastes to the note, though.

Is that the exact text of the error message, or have you reworded it?
This is the exact text of the error:
An error occurred while opening <U+2068>HTTPSConnectionPool(host='www.kochiesbusinessbuilders.com.au', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /wp-content/uploads/2019/07/business-support.jpg (Caused by NameResolutionError("<urllib3.connection.HTTPSConnection object at 0x000001D4816FFAF0>: Failed to resolve 'www.kochiesbusinessbuilders.com.au' ([Errno 11001] getaddrinfo failed)"))<U+2069>
Of course, some parts of it can change depending on from where I copy the image.
Have you looked at the HTML view of that field when you are pasting it – to see exactly what is being pasted? Does it happen consistently (or at least, more frequently) with images from certain websites?

So this is the HTML of a sample image.
I have no idea if it happens more from some websites than others because I mostly copy pictures from google images. And yes, the error messages occurs pretty often.
That one pastes fine for me.
When you copy the image, are you clicking “copy image” or “copy image address” (or whatever the similar commands are in your browser)? Have you tried opening the image by itself in another tab first – “open image in new tab” or similar command) – and then copying it?
I just click “copy image”. Nope, I don’t open it in a new tab

The actual error is probably transient network or DNS issues on your device or network.
