Allow undoing auto advance if it detects the user is afk

sometimes when i leave my pc/android unattended because an emergency popped up, the auto advance keep pressing again on all my cards. to stop this from happening how about we add a detection that sees if engine is pressing again on all cards and user is not responding and its reaching time limits on all cards for like 7-8 cards in a row then it undo’s all of its auto advancing for that session and stops it and probably displays a popup of afk

That defeats the point of the Auto Advance feature though, doesn’t it?

You suppose that’s a failure case that needs to be prevented, but it is just as good a match for a successful use of Auto Advance.

I think better solutions for you here are –

  • Don’t enable Auto Advance unless you’re sure you’ll have uninterrupted time to focus on your studies.
  • When you’re being called away to an emergency, take a moment to press d to end your study session, so you return to the Decks screen (and probably also y to sync your collection).
