Anki Desktop has an option in the template editor to decide whether to fill the empty fields. It would be nice to have this in AnkiDroid too.
Context
When checking a template I imported to AnkiDroid, I noticed that the back was blank only when viewed in the template editor’s preview. This caused me a a few minutes of confusion until I realized that those placeholder field names where messing up my JavaScript code. There’s nothing I can do about this without adding lots of unnecessary code in the template.
