How can I accumulate new cards just like it happens when I miss a review day? So if I miss a day, all my cards (including new cards, not only review) will be added to my today’s cards. I don’t think Anki has a built-in feature for this, I downloaded the source code anyway and I’m ok with tweaking it a little.

For the beginning, you will just need a text editor and Anki. Look at the code of other Anki add-ons for inspirations and search through the Anki code on github to research how things can be done.
