I know that this has been posted before but I’ve tried everything I can find but I can’t seem to get it to work. I initially tried installing the Linux version but it says my OS is outdated. I’m now running the Windows version through Wine, but I keep getting this connection issue.
I do not have a proxy, firewall, VPN or antivirus running. I cannot figure why this is happening!
That’s probably due to your glibc being too old (I believe it must be bigger than 2.36). Though even debian has a newer version and debian is known to be very stable and having old packages. Unless you really have no way to upgrade, you really should upgrade your system.
I don’t use wine but apparently you have to allow internet connection. E.g. search for linux app no connection through "wine" on the internet, you will find multiple reports and possible solutions.
