# Username or password incorrect

I just made an AnkiWeb account and have the Anki desktop app. It won’t let me sync saying that I entered my AnkiWeb ID and password incorrectly. I went to the AnkiWeb and logged in just fine. I have a PC. Could anybody help me?

Please make sure you’re not accidentally adding spaces at the start or end. You could also try change your password from the Account tab of [ankiweb.net](http://ankiweb.net)

You appear to have synced your PC today, so presumably you were able to resolve the problem?
