# Up-synced on new device deleted Ankiweb decks

I have been using Anki on my phone and laptop separately. My phone was logged in to AnkiWeb and my laptop was not. The decks on each device had different names. Today I logged in on my laptop and synced up (hoping to have all my decks in one place). Instead, my Ankiweb data was all deleted and I can only see my laptop decks there now.
Is there a way I can get my decks deleted from the sync back?

Yes!
Step 1: If one of your devices had its data overwritten, restore an automatic backup there – [Restoring an Automatic Backup (Recovering from Data Loss) - Anki FAQs](https://faqs.ankiweb.net/restoring-an-automatic-backup-recovering-from-data-loss.html) . [If only AnkiWeb changed, you can skipt this step.]
