Hi, I’m not sure this question belongs in this category but I’m not sure what actually causes this problem.
I downloaded this deck https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1353985855 and I’ve edited some fields to make it more useful to me, however I’ve noticed that every 2 weeks or so, the fields restore themselves to their original value!
I created a new field called Notes to put some parts of the Back there, since they spoiled the answer, but they end up being duplicated in Notes and Back.
I’m not sure if this is a problem with shared decks or synchronization (I also use AnkiDroid).
I appreciate any guidance towards solving this problem.

Downloading and importing a shared deck doesn’t connect you to anything, so the deck can’t be restoring itself based on that.
- Do you have any add-ons that could be causing this?
- What are your syncing habits like? Do you sync when you open the app, and when you close/leave the app, on every device, every time?

Hi, thanks for the quick response.
- I have AnkiConnect (2055492159) and gTTS text to speech support (391644525) installed on desktop (no addons or plugins on mobile).
- On desktop I sync when opening and closing the app (which translats into 1 hour maximum), on mobile I sync when opening the app and when I finis6 studying for the day (I only use mobile anki from time to time)
Now that I look at the addons installd, it could have something to do with AnkiConnect. I’ll look into it and see if I find anything.
