# Undo shortcut while reviewing (other than CTRL + Z)

Hi everyone,

Similar to AnkiDroid, it would be great to have the option to set up an additional shortcut for undoing a card review, such as using “M” (to align with the existing “HJKL” shortcuts).

When I have more time, I’ll work on creating an add-on for this feature.

At least on desktop, there is a ‘customize keyboard shortcuts’ addon that does just this:

Indeed, I had noticed this add-on but overlooked the undo function. Additionally, it appears you can undo simply by pressing “u” (this seems to be hardcoded into Anki, although there doesn’t seem to be any documentation about it).
