# Syncing Failed, email reconfirmation issues

So i keep getting this message every time i try to sync, despite downloading the newest version and repeatedly logging into ankiweb. On ankiweb it does not tell me i need to reverify my email. What do i do?

Your AnkiWeb email address needs to be re-verified annually – [Email verification - Anki Docs](https://docs.ankiweb.net/faqs/email-verification) .Yours was last verified in Sept 2025, so it’s definitely due.

Are you logging in on the AnkiWeb site, or were you _already_ logged in on AnkiWeb? If you’re using cached credentials, you may need to log out and log in again to trigger verification.
