# Syncing ankiapps and ankiweb

I have ankiapp unlimited on my iphone and ipad. I create new cards daily and they are synched between the two devices. However when I log into Ankiweb (using the same username and password as on the iphone/ipad) all I see is the empty default deck. Furthermore, I have installed anki on my PC and tried to download the decks, but it ended up with only the empty default deck.
So 1) how are the iphone and ipad synching?
2) How can I get the desktop edition included in the synch?

I wasn’t mocking. I was suggesting it’s not confusing one app with a different app. It’s confusing the real app with a copycat designed to deceive you.
