# Swipe gesture doesn't work anymore after restoring my iPhone

I just deleted all of my contents on iPhone and restored it, but I found that the swipe gesture does not work anymore. Both the vertical swipes don’t work anymore at all, and the horizontal swipes work only at the edge of the screen now, and it is very the tiny area of the edge of the screen.

Why did this happen and how can I fix it? Or is this a bug?

Have you set swipe gestures under preferences → Review → Swipes?

There have also been improvements to swipes in the latest version of Anki mobile (2.0.90) released yesterday:

> Improved swipe handling: horizontal swipes are no longer sensitive to scrolling, and vertical swipes can be activated via the edges of the screen again.
