# \`sc:capital of France\` example is confusing

In [Searching - Anki Manual](https://docs.ankiweb.net/searching.html#searching-in-cloze-deletions), there’s this part which I don’t understand:

> `sc:capital of France` matches a note containing `The {{c1::capital}} of {{c2::France}}`.

What is this example trying to show?

The `The` part is irrelevant here if that’s what’s causing confusion. The example is just showing how `sc` works across words, but it’s missing the double quotes.

That makes sense now. The `sc` wasn’t changing anything and that was confusing.
