A button on the cards screen, which replaces the card on the screen with what according to algo I should be working on at this exact moment?
Use case:
Most times when Im making a break I leave the screen on a card screen. When I come back there are relearning cards ready, but to see them I need to go to deck screen and back. A button, which does this in one click, would be nice to have.
P.S. this is especially usefull since often times I see red numbers on deck screen, but the app gives me a blue (brand new) card to learn instead.
Why bother though? Why not just study and grade the card on the screen, and the next card can come up after that? [Or, just don’t leave the study session open when you take a break?] The timing of your steps is not so split-second that there isn’t time for that.
This is most likely happening because Learn/Relearn cards show up on the red counter when they are within your “Learn Ahead Limit” – so they are available to be studied. But they won’t be shown until either there are no other cards left to study, or they reach the actual end of their step delay.
I guess Im too anxious and dont want to spend time and energy on an optional card, when there is a card I need to review. If this is a card ive just learned 10 min ago another 10 min delay can actually matter. Not to mention that the delay can be hours, if ill think that there is no hurry and will start thinking about new card, exploring the topic, editing the card, taking a lunch break, etc.
