Hello, every time I try to rebuild one of my decks on the Anki desktop app on my Mac, it gives me this message

DbError { info: “SqlInputError { error: Error { code: Unknown, extended\_code: 1 }, msg: \“near \\\”,\\\”: syntax error\“, sql: \“insert into search\_cids select c.id from cards c, notes n where c.nid=n.id and ((n.tags regexp ?) and not c.queue = -1 and not c.queue in (-2,-3) and not c.odid != 0) order by , fnvhash(c.id, c.mod) limit 300\”, offset: 176 }”, kind: Other }

I have deleted and re-downloaded Anki and the problem persists. I have Anki on my phone and Ipad and I can rebuild the decks fine, but on my computer it is not working for some reason. I’ve also tried opening Anki holding down the shift key.

Do you have FSRS disabled, and you’re using Ascending/Descending Retrievability as your selected-by in that Filtered deck? If so, that sounds like this recently reported issue –

To avoid this, you can either –

- [Enable FSRS](https://docs.ankiweb.net/manual/deck-options#a-short-guide).
- Change your selected-by to something else.
