I need to admit that at first when I found out about Anki, I was intimidated by its interface and vast options. I considered myself someone liking simple interfaces and minimalism. Over the years of using Anki, it’s navigation has become second nature. I’m glad I chose Anki over a more simple and user-friendly alternative. Only now after the initial barrier, I can say I highly value the many options and possible customisation features that it offers. I feel like I can rely on it long-term and that it will stay around, different to many other alternatives that either changed their functionality completely or stopped providing their service all together.
Also thank you for the excellent support here on the site. I always received helpful replies very quickly, which made it easy to learn how to use Anki more efficiently.
I wanted to express my gratitude and my point of view on the debate between customisability versus user-friendliness as a user.
