# New cards not syncing

Hi,

I am using Anki on my Apple Mac. I have my cards preset set at 9999 for new cards and for reviews so I can see the total number of everything. Currently my home page is showing my number of blue (new cards) as 4104, but when I click on browse and go on New under card state, I am seeing a total of 4793 cards new. There is only one deck with new cards, so I have no idea where those 600 odd cards are going. I have 0 cards buried and have turned off bury siblings. I even tried to add a card straight into the deck and the number stayed at 4104. This is really frustrating because it seems like I have less cards to do than I actually do.

Please let me know how to resolve this.

I’m opened your collection (the version that’s currently on AnkiWeb) in desktop Anki on Windows, and I can see all 4781 New cards for the `y2` deck in the Decks list. (The other 12 cards are in the `y1` deck.)

You’re using an older version of Anki on your Mac – from about 3 years ago. Have you enabled the v3 scheduler in Preferences – [The Anki v3 scheduler - Anki FAQs](https://faqs.ankiweb.net/the-2021-scheduler.html) ?
