# New card pasting image issue

While trying to past an image for a new card, I get an error and it won’t allow me to proceed.

Anki 2.1.54 (b6a7760c) Python 3.9.7 Qt 6.3.1 PyQt 6.3.1  
Platform: Mac 11.6

Restarting Anki should fix it, and updating Anki should prevent it from happening.
