Has anybody else notice something wrong with combining RTL and LTR languages? Its hard to explain but the word order is off and not what I originally put into the flashcard a couple months back. This seems to have started after I got the new update. I’ve attached a screenshot. Notice how the “Type of Grammar” has incorrect word order, but also weirdly enough the punctuation in “Back” is also incorrect.
There was a recent change in how Anki determines which text direction to use, left-to-right or right-to-left. The old behavior was based on the UI language setting, while the new behavior now depends on the first letter in the card.
Save yourself a headache and never put RTL and LTR characters on the same line!
