Hello,

I’ve installed Anki (23.10.1) on Linux but I’m having display problems.

 ![sc](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex002/uploads/anki2/original/3X/d/f/dfc13a6a51300972289000e9971d5a4e515e5759.png)

I can’t create cards. I can’t see the submenu.

I try to do this :

> echo software \> ~/.local/share/Anki2/gldriver6

But nothing has changed

If I launch Anki via the terminal I’ve got this error

```auto
Qt warning: QGuiApplication::setDesktopFileName: the specified desktop file name ends with .desktop. For compatibility reasons, the .desktop suffix will be removed. Please specify a desktop file name without .desktop suffix
Qt debug: doh set to "" -- SystemOnly
```

System Details :
Anki version : anki-23.10.1-linux-qt6
OS: Linux Mint 21.2 x86\_64
Kernel: 5.15.0-89-generic
DE: Cinnamon 5.8.4

If I check my preferences, I have this error :

Hello,
Thank you.
Problem solved, it was a connection problem due to my firewall.

Good bye 👌
