Riddle me this, how hard should it be to remove a deck from being nested inside another. I gotta say the way you have to navigate in this app is horrendous. The fact that I have to jump through hoops just to do the simplest action actually starts to flair my anger. It shouldn’t take 5 different steps and trials to be able organize my decks how I want. MAYBE I’ve never designed an app so I guess I wouldn’t know but for you not to implement simple drag and drop is kinda ridiculous considering ts cost 25$. Maybe my fingers are too fucking fat somehow but it seems impossible to drag out a deck from a subdeck to separate them. I suppose this pissed me off enough to bitch about it on a forum but DAMN what feels so intuitive to me is like somehow the opposite of this app. Gripe #2 I think bro must of been proud of himself when he made this but when you slide a deck to the left to go edit it or delete it the first thing you see if the big red delete so It actually made me hesitant to swipe because I wasn’t trying to delete the deck I just made. My very first thought was swiping this will delete this deck and not expose two little hidden options. I don’t think I’m a complete dumbass but to me it seems like you guys really went against the grain on some of this.

I can’t tell if you actually want help with something, want to offer a suggestion about something, or if you just wanted to vent about it.

But yes, unhelpful post indeed. OP could have just asked for ui improvements. They chose their rant instead.

Suggestion one: implement drag and drop for anki mobile. Currently it really is way too much effort just to organize my decks there is no simple way to just manipulate the decks or order them in any way you would like by way of dragging with your fingers.
My opinion: No drag and drop on a mobile app is kinda wacky.I believe this is way more intuitive and what people would immediately think of and try first which I think is the difference between good and bad gui. Having that option would stop at least one person from bitching.
Suggestion Two: when importing a deck if you are importing duplicate cards it automatically skips them. There is no option to add the duplicate cards they are automatically skipped. I assume this doesn’t happen if you delete the any of the duplicate cards which would make sense but why not give me the option for myself instead of deciding for me.
My opinion: That’s pretty annoying
I have more gripes with this app but that’s what really buttered my bread. In reality it’s probably pretty fucking aids to any of this which is why you haven’t I’m guessing it’s annoying to try and implement every little feature on a phone instead of a pc. yo making an app is hard yo =D.
