# Invalid Checksum when importing new files

Hi all!

I’ve been using Anki for a while and have not had this issue. However, recently I went to add a new pre-made deck and received this error:

500: Failed to read ‘tmpaexurv\_r.png’: Invalid checksum

At first I thought it was a problem with the file itself. However, I tried opening other decks, even ones I’ve been able to import in the past, and am receiving the same error. The only thing that changes is the read title. Sometimes the read title changes when I attempt to import the same deck twice. I’ve tried all of the basics including restarting the app, restarting my computer, and restarting Anki while turning off add-ons. Any help or advice would be really greatly appreciated!

Try anything else left in [Troubleshooting - Anki Manual](http://docs.ankiweb.net/troubleshooting.html).

Also, can you copy-paste the debug info?
