I’m trying to look up how many new cards I have studied today to keep track of my progress for each individual deck, however, despite having studied many new cards for the first time today, they are not showing up. Not sure if I activated something that’s bugging it or why It could not be working
For reference I’m using Version 26.05. Any suggestions welcome!!
If you can find one of the cards that you did today (that you think were new), have a look at the card info. Maybe it had data already, which had been imported in error.
I think you’re right, because I had previously studied this deck and then I reset all the cards, but I thought that would actually delete everything…
So is there anyway I can delete that data?
The simplest way is probably to export the deck without including scheduling information, delete the deck you currently have in the app, and then import it back from the file.
The thing is now I have actually done quite a bit of studying after resetting it so I would like not to lose that studying information if possible…
I don’t think there is a way to query for cards that had been reset and then introduced after the reset.
At least not build in. A python script or addon could help.
There’s no way to easily do that on a card you’ve already started studying.
Better to narrow this down with a different sort of search. For instance, if you reset the review counts when you reset these cards, then rated:1 prop:reps=1 would find cards you studied today and that’s their only countable review.
Or use Stats > Reviews to see how many reps you did today on cards in Learn. Those won’t be unique cards, but depending on your learning steps, that should give you a path to a realistic number.
If you have other cards you reset to New and haven’t re-introduced yet, you can try an add-on like Remove card history to clear away that old history. [Please make a backup first. I’ve only ever used this on a card or 2 at a time.]
The export-delete-reimport process that @Eltaurus mentioned above can work, but it leaves that review history orphaned in your collection history (which might or might not be what you want), and there’s a chance when you reimport that the history will match back up with the cards again.
Thank you!!! I did the remove card history and it worked perfectly for the whole deck. And indeed the introduced:1 is working now
I hope you’re not suggesting you used that on cards you were already studying. That would definitely be bad, and you should restore from a backup right away.
Hi, no, I just followed your advice and did this. For the cards that I have already studied I will just leave it be
