# Installing Anki on HP chromebook

The guide that is often recommended for Chromebook installs – [Installing Anki on Chromebook (Linux) 2023 Updated Guide](https://www.reddit.com/r/Anki/comments/14sblet/installing_anki_on_chromebook_linux_2023_updated/) . However the install process has changed significantly since that was written, so you might need to start with a pre-25.07 version and get that working first.
