# Install and use of Latex in Anki

Hello,  
I’ve already installed the Anki-Add-on " Edit LaTeX build process" (937148547) and Miktex to use Latex Code for my flashcards. Yet it doesn’t work.  
What I have to do?

The add-on is not meant to install LaTeX for you automatically; it only allows you to configure its parameters. Please see [Math & Symbols - Anki Manual](https://docs.ankiweb.net/math.html#assumed-knowledge) for some details about installing LaTeX and using it with Anki.

If [MathJax](https://docs.ankiweb.net/math.html#mathjax) works for you, I recommend using it instead, as it doesn’t require installation.
