# Images not showing up on mobile but showing up on ankiweb

Have already seen multiple threads on this but have done everything and the issue still isn’t resolved.
- Media sync is complete
- Synch audio and images is checked in preferences on my mac
- Images still aren’t being displayed on my phone
- The images show up on ankiweb

Possibility #1 – The media has synced from your Mac to AnkiWeb, but not yet synced from AnkiWeb to your phone.
Possibility #2 – The media isn’t compatible with iOS.
Things to try –
- Run `Check Media` on both devices to see if the results match for missing/unused files.
- Check in `⚙️ Preferences > Syncing` to make sure you’re syncing both devices with the same AnkiWeb account.
- Have you synced recently? The AnkiWeb account connected with the email address you used to post here hasn’t synced with either device in months. If you want the collections to stay in sync, you need to sync when you open the app on a device, and when you close/leave the app on that device, every time.
