Hi everyone,

I’m using **Anki version 25.02** on a **MacBook Pro (Apple M4 chip, macOS Sequoia 15.5)**.

I had to pause reviewing for a while, and my earliest missed cards are from **2025-06-10**. I’d like to **“rewind” Anki** so that it behaves **as if today were June 10** , and I could just resume from that day — with all cards keeping their original spacing and intervals (rather than everything being due today).

I know there’s a “Set Due Date” add-on (`1295928827`), but it appears to be incompatible with my Anki version (Qt 6.6.2 / PyQt 6.6.1). I also understand that manually setting all due dates to one past date would flatten the schedule — which I’d like to avoid.

**Is there any supported way (add-on or workaround) to shift all due cards backwards by 15 days while preserving their original due order and intervals?**
Basically, I’d like to act as if nothing happened and pick up right where I left off.

Thanks in advance for any advice!

It’s feature you can access from the browse screen.

The best way to act like nothing happened is to suspend all of your overdue cards.

Thanks! Yes, I’m aware of that one — but I’m on **Anki 25.02 (Qt 6.6.2)** and it doesn’t seem to be compatible anymore. Do you happen to know of any updated alternative or workaround for newer Anki versions?

Set due date is a built-in feature, not an add-on. Check the browse screen. [Browsing - Anki Manual](http://docs.ankiweb.net/browsing.html#cards).

There’s no way to do that – even if you use an ill-advised add-on to pretend it is happening – because your brain can’t act as if your memories haven’t decayed for an extra 15 days.

Those cards aren’t all due today though. They are still due on the 10th, 11th, and every day between then and now – so Set Due Date won’t help you do anything. What you’re really proposing is to go back in time to those days, but you don’t have a time machine, so that isn’t possible.

[The suggestion to suspend all of your overdue cards is also not a good one. I don’t know what the point of that would be other than pretending they don’t exist.]

_ **Your best path forward is acceptance.** _ You have a backlog of overdue cards. You need to put together [a catch-up plan](https://forums.ankiweb.net/t/adressing-backlog/43842/2) and work on getting caught up.
