# How to change cards from Close to Basic

I accidentally made my cards Cloze instead of basic… so now when I try to do my cards they just appear like the picture attached. I have been trying to manually change them but it’s just a lot of work. It also seems like sometimes after syncing a bunch go back to Cloze even though I was pretty sure I made them as Basic… Help!

Please restore the template to {{cloze:Text}} to fix it, then select the cards you wish to change in the browse screen, and use the Notes\>Change Note Type menu item to change them to the Basic type.
