This is exactly the way that I would like my cards to look in terms of formatting. Unfortunately I have no experience in coding and for the past hour have been on this forum fidgeting and attempting to make the cards look like yours for the centred and clean formatting of the bullet points using your advice and Gueazy’s.
Unfortunately when I copy in your code, in the back template it says:
Back template has a problem:
Found ‘{{Back Extra}}’, but there is no field called ‘Back Extra’
This error stems from the fact that you have no field called Back Extra on your card. Replace Back Extra inside {{...}} with the name of a field you actually have on your notetype.
I did try it out but it seems like it’s very inconsistent - sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t. I am copying the formatting off of Notion however, which might be the reason for the discrepancy but the reason I am confused is that I am copying the same format and sometimes it works and other times it doesn’t seem to be.
I also for some reason now can’t see the images I’ve copied into the extras section once the card’s back template shows.
I don’t know what Notion is so I can’t tell for sure, but I guess it’s that copy-pasting which is inconsistent. You can also paste without formatting by holding Shift, then recreate the formatting using Anki’s editor. If that’s more consistent, then it means it’s Notion which provides formatting that is a bit too complex.
Yes, because you removed the {{Back Extra}} field. If you field is called Extras, for instance, you should add back something like {{Extras}} to the back template.
Thank you so much BlackBeans this resolved the problem surrounding not being able to see the images - sorry that was such an easy fix I’m just clueless when it comes to code.
I have been following the shift formatting you’ve recommended and been formatting on Anki’s editor but I’m unfortunately having no luck centering the text and bullet points still :(( (sorry for constantly pestering you but any help would once again be much appreciated) Here is what it looks like:
