# Error on syncing media

I’ve recently enabled “Synchronise audio and images too” in my preferences. The initial upload of my media went fine, but recent syncs have been failing with this error:

This is the output in the Media Sync Log:

I use Anki on two computers. The issue occurs on both. I’ve followed the [troubleshooting steps](https://faqs.ankiweb.net/when-problems-occur.html). I’m using Anki 2.1.39.

Does anyone have any idea how to fix it?

Anki is trying to delete a file deleted on one of your other systems, but Windows is saying it doesn’t have permission to. Perhaps changing your permissions will help: [Windows permission problems - Frequently Asked Questions](https://faqs.ankiweb.net/windows-permission-problems.html)

Thank you. Using icacls in the command line didn’t help. However selecting all of my media files and unchecking read-only in the Properties dialogue seems to have solved the problem on one of the machines. I have yet to test the other one but I am confident it will work.
