# Do not allow renaming the Default deck

Basically the title.

I understand that the Default deck is quirky, but can we at least prevent issues like these:

Excellent idea! And then we can also stop suggesting that in the manual – [Getting Started - Anki Manual](https://docs.ankiweb.net/getting-started.html#decks) .
